You are not lost. You’re in a transition.
“What if the most important career decision of your life doesn’t start with clarity — but with discomfort?”
Career transitions aren’t just about switching jobs.
They’re not just about figuring out what you want to do next.
They’re about who you’re becoming in the process.
And here’s what no one tells you:
It’s not a straight line.
It won’t always feel exciting.
And clarity often comes last — not first.
The truth about “What’s Next?”
Most people think a career change starts with a brilliant plan.
An aha moment. A clear path.
But the reality?
Transitions often begin with a sense of discomfort.
You feel it: “This just isn’t right anymore.”
But you’re not sure what would be.
You feel ungrateful for wanting more.
You worry you’re being dramatic.
You scroll job boards and feel… nothing.
That’s the truth I wish more people talked about.
Why I coach Career transitions
I’m passionate about career transitions because they’re never just about work — they’re about identity, self-worth, and the courage to grow.
I love helping people reconnect with who they are and step into who they’re becoming.
I’ve been through these transitions myself — crossing industries, countries, and identities.
But one moment stands out.
My Story: From “This is fine” to “This isn’t me anymore”.
I remember sitting in a meeting, nodding along, contributing ideas, getting things done.
I was good at my job. Respected. Safe.
And yet, something inside me felt flat.
Like I was playing a role that used to fit me — but no longer did.
I remember going for walks to clear my mind. One day, as a walked in a park close by to my home, as many other days before, something clicked. It wasn’t dramatic. It was subtle.
“You don’t want to be a marketing and event manager anymore. There is something else waiting for you. And it’s okay not to know what comes next.”
That sentence didn’t come with a plan or a perfect next step. But it was a turning point. I realized I couldn’t keep following a path that no longer felt like mine, just because it made sense to others.
That walk sparked a deeper reflection. I didn’t pivot overnight. But it set something in motion: A commitment to stop performing and start listening. To stop striving and start aligning.
To let the next version of me emerge without forcing it.
What I’ve learned (and you won’t find in Career Guides)
-
- You don’t have to know the destination to take a step.
- Letting go can be scarier than starting something new.
- Doubt doesn’t mean you’re on the wrong path — it means you’re growing.
- Your next chapter is already whispering to you — you just need to slow down enough to hear it.
This is the work I love
I help professionals who are questioning the path they’re on.
Together, we make space for:
-
- honest reflection (without self-judgement)
- exploring what energizes you (not just what you can do)
- taking brave steps (even when the outcome isn’t fully clear yet)
This isn’t about flashy reinventions.
It’s about coming home to yourself — and building your next move from that place.
If you’re questioning what’s next
You’r right where you need to be.
You’re not behind.
You’re in a transition — and that means something inside you is growing.
If you’re searching clarity but unsure where to begin, let’s start with a conversation.
Because I believe these moments are the beginning of something deeply meaningful.
Let’s make sure you don’t walk through them alone.
Ready to take a step?
If this spoke to you, let’s talk.
To what’s next – with courage and curiosity! Warm regards, Stefanie
